CONTEXT
The post-holder is based at the Peacemarsh site reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor and is responsible for all the stock movements throughout the various warehouse locations. The post-holder will act as cover for the Warehouse Supervisor in their absence.
OVERALLJOB PURPOSE
The post-holder is responsible the management of all stock transactions in all NYR warehouse location.
To control the use of the Sage stock control system.
To be a key member of the Warehouse team driving quality, service, safety and continuous improvement.
To champion training of stocktaking techniques.
To challenge the norm.
Key Responsibilities
·Processing of Bin to Bin product transfers.
·Keeping up to date records on the Stock spreadsheets.
·To control the Perpetual Inventory program in the NYF warehouse and to take a active roll in the roll out.
·To be the sole controller of stock adjustments.
·To carry out investigations into stock variances.
·To deputize in the absence of the Warehouse Supervisor covering all areas of that role.
·Working effectively with the Warehouse Supervisor, Good in and Warehouse/Dispatch team leaders.
·To build key working relationships of the Planning, Finance and Technical teams
·Timely inputting of data on to Sage.
·Updating of the departments KPI’s.
·Control and updating of the “Grey List”

Special Characteristics
·The post holder is contracted to work 37.5 hours per week but the hours may need to flexible depending upon the business needs.
·The role has a high degree of interaction with people and other NYR departments and a open, flexible and approachable nature is important.
Department KPI’s
The supply planner’s role will support the departments delivery KPI’s and a key understanding of their importance and definition is critical.
